In Ephesians 6, Paul is writing a letter to the Church of Ephesus encouraging them to stand firm as they go through some of the toughest times in their Christian journey. He is first acknowledging that God has confirmed their salvation, empowered them to be victorious, and called them to greatness yet they will still have to overcome the schemes of the devil in the process. The Apostle Paul uses the image of a Roman soldier’s armor as a tangible example of how we can arm ourselves against the evil one. Through this Inductive Teaching Series study guide, pastor and teacher Daryl W. Arnold’s prayer is that the study of these scriptures will prepare you for spiritual warfare, propel you into your God given purpose and prevent you from giving up during the process.
